Quirks & Quarts is about people coming together to learn, share and laugh. Real, traditional food. Easy food. Long, lazy food. Food that looks like it takes a long time but really only takes a couple of minutes here and there. Local, sustainable food you want your family to eat, cooked in a way your family wants to eat. I want people to have the skills to make a great bone broth and a great cocktail. Sometimes we need to nourish our spirit and sometimes we want a nourishing spirit.

I have a passion for traditional foods, traditional healing methods and essential oils. I love learning and sharing what I've learned. I trained with Monica Corrado from Simply Being Well and have certificates as a Traditional Food Teacher, in Aromatherapy from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy, and was a certified 21 Day Sugar Detox Coach. I am also the Calgary Chapter Leader for the Weston A Price Foundation, a worldwide organization comprised of people dedicated to restoring nutrient dense food to the human diet through education, research and activism, and I'm currently working towards becoming a Bio-individual Nutrition Coach.
